A little bit about Kristine

Kristine Claghorn is a certified educator and facilitator of compassion & mindfulness through Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism, Research, and Education (CCARE). She previously worked for Stanford University CCARE ACT and the Global Compassion Coalition as their Head of Creative Partnerships.

She's also a creative producer and coach, with interests in the areas of neuroplasticity and getting unstuck, self-compassion, self-worth, burnout, and nonviolent communication. She has worked on several guides on these topics and wrote an e-book called “Taking Compassionate Action: A Compassionate Guide to Navigating Burnout, Imposter Syndrome, and Difficult Conversations to Further Resilience, Take Action, and Create Positive Change,” which includes 12+ recorded practices and meditations. She's passionate about identifying creative opportunities that help individuals and brands get unstuck.

As a creative producer for a marketing agency based in Los Angeles, she worked with a range of brands and entertainment clients — Disney, Diet Coke, and Hubert's Lemonade — to create thumb-stopping photo and video content for audiences on social. She's pivoted her marketing skill set to focus on education and tools to help others live more impactful, compassionate lives. She spends much of her time reading the science and data within the field of compassion and uses her knowledge to translate the data into bite-size content that is accessible to all. She’s currently working on content creation and social media management for the podcast Being Well with Dr. Rick Hanson & Forrest Hanson and producing The Compassion Podcast for the Global Compassion Coalition.

In her free time, you can often find her sharing her thrift finds on Instagram and TikTok.
